Mini XLR for fitting larger cables?
Quote: Thanks SE! Really appreciate it. Looks like I will have to keep within a 4-wire braid limit if I were to stick to mini XLRs.- swishbrade

Mini XLR for fitting larger cables?
Hi SE. Thanks for your valuable advice. May I know, as per your experience, will an eight braid of 24 gauge wires fit into a mini XLR 4P switchcraft jack? Thanks! John- swishbrade

New Products from Wyred 4 Sound at RMAF
Thanks MorbidToaster and Bones13! I've got to get me an audition with one of these servers. This is exciting for me as I am building a new home soon and would like to get the infrastructure for my homes's audio needs all well planned out before the contractors start work. Lots to learn from you...- swishbrade

New Products from Wyred 4 Sound at RMAF
Thanks for that MorbidToaster! I will check it out. In that case, I would rather go with a full IMac as a music server. Or for a small form factor, maybe a Mac mini? But I doubt W4S's product has no benefits on top of a Mac mini setup. Maybe i can't see it. Can anyone point me to the additional...- swishbrade

Agreed. The W4S server boasts of allowing us to use an iDevice as the remote. Are there any apps out there which will allow us to do the same while using an iMac? Or a PC?- swishbrade

The server will be going for USD1,999. https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/310568_296544340357442_218350058176871_1174829_137464876_n.jpg Strange. I can't really make out where the internal drive to rip CDs is located.- swishbrade

What is the best headphone to listen to Pink Floyd?
Agreed. On the run, I found that the CLAS was able to bring out details previously muffled on my iPod:Amp combo. The overall sound staging was quite a bit more precise too. But again, all this stuff blows the budget set for us. I'd say, spend the entire USD250 on the most suitable and easy to...- swishbrade

Edited. Thanks for the reminder. Just because I was dumb when younger doesn't mean it should be joked about too freely.- swishbrade

Cheapest and fastest way to upgrade your phones from free Apple buds to a LCD3. Edit: Most expensive in terms of brain cells sacrificed though.- swishbrade
