Remove broken line in jack replace with line out, Fiio E10K.
Well I broke the line in jack on my Fiio E10k, one channel went out I could get both if I force the wire upward but I could not reliably hold it there. So instead of sending it back like I should have I took it apart and managed to break the line in jack even more so now I have no channels. I...- StayGold

Best Headphone AMP/DAC under $100?
I could probably up my budget to $120 but not much more than that. I would prefer sound quality and power over potability. I'm thinking the E10k out of those simply for the high and low gain switch. I would really like a bit more bass, if you ask me the hd558s are a bit weak when it comes to bass.- StayGold

I'm looking for a amp/dac for my sennheiser HD558s. I will use it for gaming and music, I thought about getting a sound card but the good ones are quite expensive and I have no interest in virtual surround or whatever features gamers buy those things for, also I would like something I could use...- StayGold

Looking for a headphone amp for Sennheiser HD 558?
Thanks for the help. I think I will try out one of those SB-Z cards next week when I get paid. No I don't seem to have any electrical noise, if I do its not enough for me to really notice it. Yeah they are good boards mine has been going for almost three years with an overclocked FX 8320 in it.- StayGold

Looking for a headphone amp for Sennheiser HD 558?
Just ordered my first pair of decent headphones the sennheiser HD 558s. I have read I may need an amp to get the most out of them. I am mainly a PC gamer and my headphones will mostly be hooked up to the PC. I have a decent motherboard so it has an okay built in sound card but no headphone amp...- StayGold
