Just got these. They remind me of my Ultrasone DJ1 Pros with the very wide soundstage, but with more sub-bass, slightly better mids and a bit less energetic.   Dunno if I like them yet, need to use them a bit more as more sub-bass isn't exactly what I expected.

Ahh conflicting opinions!   A small amount of leakage will probably be fine. I can't have them leaking like open cans though. 

    Damn, that's a shame. Will have to cancel them then.

Hows the leakage on these? As bad as open headphones? I have fairly thin walls and I remember my HD598's being heard from the other side of them.

Anyone with these headphones made a comparison with the SRH1540's yet? I'm interested in both as they are around the same price point and they seem similar to each other. 

I bought from an "unauthorized reseller" so I don't think I can get the warranty on them, unfortunately. Didn't buy the HFI 580's last year because I didn't want extremely punchy bass, so I got the DJ1 Pros (Think they are the same as the Pro 550's) which I heard had a more toned down tighter...
