I found a pair of SHE3580s that I bought like 2 yrs ago on a business trip, plugged it into my portable right (ipod 5.5g/fiio e6/l9) and they sound great!  I'd describe the sound as FUN! 

my iPod Video with 32gb Transcend CF along velcro'd with Fiio E6 + L9.. I've had this for awhile and can't seem to quit it!  Haven't tried rockbox yet..maybe when I'm bored ;)     

I might be going there again tmrw after work...I'll see. I will say that these aren't as nice as they seem. Obviously for the price - well worth it :)

Mine arrived on Friday and I've been listening to them constantly, breaking them in.  Current setup is Asus Xonar D1 --> Schiit Magni --> DT 990 Pro 250Ω.  Been going through a lot of Going Quantum podcasts and Monstercat mixes.  Been enjoying them immensely!
