The Official Sony MDR-Z1R Flagship Headphone Thread (Live From IFA 2016)

The Z1R is actually comparatively good value here in Australia. It costs less than the HD800S and Ether Flow C.   Hope the Sony Store will have these for demo.

Does the SR007 MK2 headpad fit on an MK1? I know that the earpads fit but not sure about the headpad.

West Sydney "mini" meet- July 5th 2009

Wow, I haven't been here for ages and just my luck that I saw the title of this thread on the forum main page. I'm really interested in attending the meet, if there is still room, as I've been wanting to hear what electrostatics sound like, as well as the HD800. I have some OK gear which I...

    Bitrate Preference?

For portable use, I simply use 128kbps Ogg (aotuv). For my music archive on my PC I use FLAC level 8.

    M-Audio Transit Problems

Yes, I was getting the same problem with the headphone out as well as when playing DVDs through Media Player Classic. I'm not sure what I did but the problem seems to have gone away. I did play with some of the settings in the M-Audio control panel. Thanks for the suggestions though.
