Ended up with both actually. Wife got me the m50s, I bought the Shure SRH840 (that I keep at work) with left over money from Christmas :D. 

Looking at getting a good amp for my m50s. A friend told me the Lepai 2020A would work, but I have a budget of $50-$100 to work with. Any advice? I have no problem dropping $20 for an amp, anything over $50 I need to make sure will work.
