    I'd like to stick to neutral, but am really open to experimenting. I've only owned a pair of ATH-M30 and Shure-215 so far, and loved em to bits.

    Oof, those prices sure pack a punch. I might look into more expensive headphones further down the line, regardless thank you so much for the suggestions. However I will try to find the ZMF on ebay. Also yeah, the old recordings can be just a little bit caustic to the ears!

    Thanks for the recommendation, however I think that vintage recievers are a whole 'nother can of worms I really don't want to get into at my early stages.

    Hey there, I'm Roger Looks like I'm down this audiophile rabbit hole now, and I have no breaks. I listen mainly to progressive music, and own a Hifiman Megamini and a Sure 215 for now, looking to get a nice pair of cans.
