If it performs at least not worse than my Xduoo link 2 dongle, I’ll consider it as replacement for my 128 gb iphone, cuz the storage is almost full.

Is it handless an aggressive music styles like metal? Not to sound soft, relaxing, polite even muffled as r2r could be? Cuz my Cayin ru6 could…

It can be connected to the smartphone via usb and used as a big dongle?

I hope rs2 will beat ru6. Cuz if a pricier dap lost to a cheaper and more portable dongle, it will be kinda pitiful, IMHO.

I was excited by Hiby rs2 but found, that my CTM ce320 IEMs got better synergy with xDuo link 2 dongle based on ESS chip, rather than with r2r Cayin RU6 dongle, cuz that combo was way too dark and relaxed. If m11s SQ tuned to be “aggressive“, that is better option for me.

With new one, Fiio now has 5 different m11 daps… They could try made “m11 pure” based on ESS. No android, no streaming, no BT, only pure delta sigma music experience 😁

Does anyone ready to share some more impressions?

So far it seems, that rs2 tuned well, where “musical“ don’t means bloated bass, veiled mids, and muted highs. At least I’m hope so.

how does rs2 handles treble compared to dx170? My Cayin ru6 in NOS mode feels kinda dark, bit soft and lacking some sparkle from upper mids to treble, sometimes even veiled compared to another dongle- xDuo link 2

Does the bass has good quantity, but still good quality to prevent bleeding into mids?

I’m afraid, that after all it might can go not far from Cayin ru6 dongle in terms of sonics. It’s just a bad feeling without backgroun yet. Will see.

All my music library is about 60 gb. But it’s nice to have a bit more space for expansion 😉
