Agreed on this... Phono is great, but for the love of audio, buy a separate dac.... Either of the Modi's or Bifrost are fantastic options.... I havent heard a Modius yet, but I've read it was good, plus 4 inputs...

Late to the party here, but yeah, I have used all 6 of my schiit dacs that way. It works great. I am especially loving Taylor Swifts concert via Disney and Helldivers 2 fed through Yggy, Rag 2, Zu speakers, and my ZMFs... Works great. It really makes for a nice audio visual experience...

Yeah I looked into those...HDMI extractors that DONT do analogue out, allow for 4k 120 hz passthrough/output, and offer coaxial are hard to come by for prices I'd pay, for non-Schiit products. I don't need HDMI audio extraction from a Schiit DDC, or a Schiit DDC at all.. But it sure would be...
