Buying portable or in-ear headphones? Seeking guidance? DON'T START A NEW THREAD. Ask for advice HERE!
My current IEMs keep falling out of my ear when I'm running, so I want a new pair that hooks over my ears to prevent this. $100-$150 price range, like a good amount of bass. Suggestions? Something like the Bang & Olufsen A8s but with a better low-end.- renniche

Little Dot I+ w/ DAC or HiFiMan EF2 for SRH840?
I bought a pair of Shure SRH840s last week and now I'm trying to decide on amplification and perhaps a DAC. I've done some research on here and it looks like the Little Dot I+ and the HiFiMan EF2 are good choices for relatively cheap amplification. Are these good for the SRH840s? Which...- renniche

Shure SRH840 a good first set?
Quote: I'm going to go out and see if I can find a pair of the Shures to test tonight. I'm not worried about bass that causes whiplash — and if I'm not mistaken, I can't expect subwoofer rumble from headphones (nor do I want that kind of bass, either) — I just don't want to get a...- renniche

Shure SRH840 a good first set?
Quote: What's the difference between the DT770s and the 770 Pro-80s? And yeah, maybe I should test out the SRH840s... I'll just have to find a place in Edmonton that carries them.- renniche

Shure SRH840 a good first set?
Up to this point in my life I've used crappy Apple iPod and iPhone earbuds and crappy computer speakers to listen to my music. But I'm a music critic, so I figure I'm obligated to have a good set of headphones (and I also just want a good pair now). Are the Shure SRH840 a good entry...- renniche
