The majority of people drive their cars here and there daily without having a clue how they work...point is, people don't have to know how something works to appreciate it. If a DAC makes my music sound better, so what if I don't know how it works. I only really care about how my music sounds.

Well, my HD 600s are arriving in the mail tomorrow and I don't have an amp. I figure I want to own a portable and a full-size amp at some point. And I'm thinking I will just ask for a full-size one for Christmas since I can't afford that now. But I can afford the E7 right now...and Christmas is...

How much do they go for? I'd really only like to spend no more than $250 and if I had to do that then I probably couldn't get it right away with my headphones.

Ok now I'm thinking I'd rather go for a home amp rather than a portable amp. I saw some suggestions on the Gilmore Lite, but I can't find a price for it because I can't find it on eBay or Amazon and I can't even find a review on YouTube or any video when I searched for it. What?

Yea I was reading around and seeing that the amps weren't working so we with the HD 600s. I already bought my 600s and are awaiting their arrival in the mail. How can the e11 be more powerful than the e7 and be cheaper? Will the e11 make my music sound better?

Yea I'm not an audio fiend....not yet anyway. So I decided to get the HD 600s and I'll probably get that portable E7 amp. So I think there is only one input for the source on the E7, so how would I use my 360 with the amplifier? I need to plug in two Red/White cables. How's this gonna work?

So how would I be playing my iPhone music through the amplifier? How does it hook up? And just another random question if someone could answer...a new plasma Panasonic TV that I just bought doesn't have a headphone jack for some stupid reason...how would I go about listening to my video games...

One last thing I forgot to mention. I liked the 600s cuz the cord is replaceable. Are there any headphones that match what I'm looking for that have replaceable, detachable cables? Cuz my Audio Technica headphones I got had a cord that shorted out or something.

How bout this...are there any headphones that are Hugh end and cost around $250-350 that won't require an amp but can still be improved with one, yet still sound amazing just listening to an iPod?

Do those Sonys need an amp and how much are they?

How much sound quality would I sacrifice if they were portable? I'm still trying to decide. If they were portable though, then they can't look stupid lol.

$400 all together I may go higher but let's try to keep it below $430. And what would you consider if I didn't want an amp and wanted full potential just with the headphones? I have pretty good bitrates for my songs...like 256-320.
