I'm looking at getting the new Dragonfly since I never pulled the trigger on the old one. I have a Galaxy Note 4 I plan on using with it as well as AKG K553 Pro's.   Would the Black be sufficient or would I always be left wanting more for the Red?

The Sansa would be something of comparable size and features but definitely dated. If you wait for the FiiO M3, you won't be disappointed.
