BeerGuy, I never knew a lot of the time what I was making since it was a prototype and not till after it was in production was we given a award of something did we know what we made...   I remember this one job was a 30ghz filter silver plated aluminum can that be to a ray gun :)

Heat the wire with soldering iron and use Solder Paste to clean it while heating.. Do this before you Tin the Wire with soldering ..   Tinning is adding some solder to wire.. Make sure you use solder paste..   Tin Wire Connect to plug Solder connections adding some paste before...

Just noticed the USB cable on the Capistor?   If you would like some sheet metal let me know , I have a few gauges of SS and some carbon steel if you want to try and make a bracket.. I think I have some brass too...

Thanks, I did not add this to post the wire and heat shrink was hot glued down, it was 3AM when I finished and took images :) I hope it is locked it in place like the ALO I inspected ....

Wow thats $450 USD Very Nice Looking Cases   I need to start a custom case business  :)     Anyone looking to make there own cases a company called 80/20 makes many extrusions in aluminum.. They are very close to what is used to make the side plates..  These might also work for...

I need to finish a small lathe job and will have time to make some knobs next week..   I have some 1 3/8" brass and was thinking of making a rare wood and antiqued brass knob or just something quick out of aluminum to get some opinions..   I'll up up the shaft size but I guess its a 1/4"...

Nice looking case, how much does something like cost to have made and  hard anodized  ?

I was looking at some systems and really liked the racks as I never seen one.. They seem to be all square with a X shape I guess so there is lots of air around systems   I just finished SkyLabs review of the Beta 22 and for the money almost you can buy a Dark Voice and not have build it...
