Same thing happened to both sides of my sr60's. I used JB weld and its held up very well. Rough up the metal pole thats going to be epoxied (sandpaper or dremel) for a better hold.

I am familiar with MB quart and their car audio equipment but I have never heard of them making headphones. I can't see to find much info on their website or ebay about these phones.... do you have any links or reviews to share?

Are Grado's just that good that there are no alternatives? I thought I would maybe get some ad-900's or HD-600's...... I know this is all subjective but I hate to buy another pair of uncomfortable POS headphones that will fall apart in 2 years, unless thats the absolute price for fidelity...
