The AD700s were my favorite cans for a long time, but I got tired of fixing my broken jack, so I sold them. I ordered the AKG k240 MKII, but the magic just wasn't there, so $212 later, I have the AD900s set to arrive at my door tomorrow. Can't wait!   One question: I ordered a little Bravo...

Some quick impressions, in no particular order:   I like the AD700 a hell of a lot better. The 240 MKIIis almost muddy compared to the clarity I've been used to. The bass has much more impact, but that comes at the expense of drawing attention away from the highs. Mids are solid, but they...

I haven't owned as many headphones as some people here, but the AD-700s are my favorite, hands down. It's a pity the jack was faulty in my pair. Someday I'll get the 900s!

I've been enjoying my AD-700s immensely, but the time has come for me to part with them and upgrade (they're listed here for $65, if anyone is interested). I'm looking for a similar sound that will still seem like an "upgrade". I love the soundstage of the AD-700s especially – I've never before...
