Shure Foamies Don't Fit E4C? Help?

Amazon actually has a great buyer protection program, so I've filed a request and all costs should be recovered The seller is Dansestore - but all e-mail was sent through "eliteproducts," another seller on Amazon. Beware both sellers, I hope no one else runs into the same issues!

Shure Foamies Don't Fit E4C? Help?

Thanks all for the replies. I looked closer at the reference images from Shure and noticed the E and R on the logo don't overlap on my earphones. I then took them apart and noticed the really ****ty internal build quality. In short, my earphones were fakes. Amazon marketplace is apparently...

Shure Foamies Don't Fit E4C? Help?

I don't think they are fake. They look exactly like the reference images Shure provides, and sound good (cheap was ~$100). It could be that the foamies really aren't made for the E4C... ugh. At least I'm only out $15 if that is the case Thanks for the quick response nc8000!

Shure Foamies Don't Fit E4C? Help?

I purchased some Shure E4Cs on the cheap recently, and bought a pack of the universal yellow foam sleeves shortly after based on head-fi member recommendations. I got the foamies today, but have a slight problem - the foamies don't seem to fit at all! The foam sleeves have a plastic tube...

    Maynard Ferguson suggestions

Tongue in cheek. That is too bad I saw him last just a couple of years ago, he seemed incredibly energetic and had a lot of fun on stage. That's the way I want to grow old On a related note, Doc Severinsen is still alive, and I believe still performing occasionally...

    Maynard Ferguson suggestions

Oh man, Maynard Ferguson is legendary! I've seen him a couple times live, and even at his old age he can still hit those high notes like nothing! My favorite of his CDs is "Master of the Stratosphere." It consists of all the best songs taken from his most successful period (commercially) and...

    Any other Amon Tobin fans?

Big fan here, too! Bridge on Permutation is an amazing track as well, it is catchy, upbeat, and fun to listen to while driving I also thought the transition into a darker Chaos Theory demonstrated well Amon Tobin's range of production capabilities. I really liked the album, especially...

Amp power - is this possible? (Or stupid?)

Well, I priced things out last night and my wallet disagrees with this project I made cuts on some of the non-essential caps on the TREAD, but I still couldn't beat Tangent's kit prices for the TREADs - which doesn't factor in the cost of an enclosure, jacks, and a transformer or wallwart...

Difficult to build a CMOY? (no experience at all)

I built my first cmoy this past weekend having no prior electronics or soldering experience. Following tangent's guide made it easy enough. Some tips from when I built mine: Take special note of the polar capacitors (C1). One has the top lead +, while the next has the top lead -. I didn't...

Amp power - is this possible? (Or stupid?)

Whoops, I goofed. Right now I'm thinking of using a standard three-prong AC plug from wall to the enclosure so everything will be handled internally. From there, I'll have a slow-burn fuse before connecting to the transformer. Before I was reasonably certain that this transformer was...

Amp power - is this possible? (Or stupid?)

Oh, duh! I just re-read tomb's post and realized the original transformer he had referred me to was a dual-secondary type. Ignore the request for help in finding two single secondary transformers Alrighty then, I'm feeling more confident with the assembly of this supply. Tonight I'll make my...
