Considering to buy one of them. Has anyone found replacement pads for the k52/k72/k92? Velour would be nice, for better ventilation. Otherwise maybe the superlux hd662 evo would be a better choice. Reading many users with right ear connection problems on the akg's.

My closed back superlux doesn't fit my head or ears, need more comfortable ones. Have taken out the inner felt because of too much bass rumbling. Is it comparable with agk k52 k72 and k92 series? Heard that the k52 are the best sounding of the three. Same price as the evo too. But the broken...

The 688b looks like the right choice for me... Like the changeable cable solution. (If it it's holding up.) About the pads, know the HD 681 pads fits, likewise the akg 240 pads. Is the 240 pads worth it? They are double in price.

I'm counting to change to hd601 velour pads. How about modding them with toilet paper or handkerchief? My 662s sounds more balanced that way, with less edge on the treble. That just with two thin layers.
