Interested in this thread. I listen to almost the same exact music as you and I bought the re400s. They sound good for 100 bucks but I want something more. I'm coming from 500 dollar full size cans and these sound adequate but not mind blowing.

So I just bought one of these from wsz on ebay. I needed a DAC with optical as well as usb.  Going to add a Valhalla to the mix soon for my 880s.  Hope I made a good choice!

Anybody have any recent input on this DAC?  Im thinking about ordering this plus a Darkvoice or MK3 for my beyer 880s. 

Should I buy the M-stage first and then the Mini-I later...say 6 months down the road?  Or the other way around?  Im using Beyer 880s 250ohm.  My sources are an xbox 360, ipod, and laptop.
