All new audio device (including changing a new set of cable) require burn-in time, can be 50-200 hrs. This is not a myth but it is audio industry standard practice not to be ignore by anyone in anyway.- NewForce

Unfortunately both cable plugs not the same can't swap them just like that. Don't know your definition for big difference how big you need it to be, but I have a fewRSS ppl can't tell a difference between a 320kpbs mp3 in Bluetooth connection and a wave file with same headphone wired directly...- NewForce

Don't doubt before you try it. The Z7M2 with Kimber really make a difference and the money really well spent. It open up the sound stage by 2 level up. The reason I said 2 level up, cos if it is only 1 level up, it's kind like hard to tell immediate different especially playing different...- NewForce

Sony not a snake oil company, all different class device selling at the the right price they demanded. And it all depend on your ears and the player you have to make it difference. Don't expect to use any cellphone, or a cheap dap, cheap CD player to make Z1R sing. Which mean Z1R need more...- NewForce

It's very funny, why would they behave in that way? Hmm.. Probably like no Kimber Kable available, the Sony store you went also don't have a DMP-Z1 which is far superior than Hugo, as the last time I've audited it.- NewForce

Since you mentioned you have a Hugo, I strongly suggest you try Z7M2 again attached with Kimber Kable, if the store you're going have it. You'll be amaze Z7M2+Kimber Kable+Hugo/Mojo setup sounded absolutely fantastic with more soundstage, more airiness, more details and much cleaner and sweeter...- NewForce

SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?
Even XM3 itself used in wired mode win the BT wireless mode. If you like like light and fast(articulate) bass sound like HD650 and other open headphones, then you won't like the bass of XM3, same goes for mid and high.- NewForce

Dear ZX2 owners, In your opinion, beside Android OS, Sony in-house system, online streaming ability and internal storage, which DAP more worthy to own, ZX2 or ZX300 in term of, 1 Sound quality via 3.5mm output 2 Sound quality of Bluetooth LDAC connection with 1000XM3- NewForce
