iBasso DX160 - The listening experience only gets better and better. ******NEW FW 1.09 - link 1st page.******
@Paul - iBasso - my dx160 went dead. Didn’t drop it or break it. It just won’t turn on. I emailed service@ibasso.com with no answer. This is really disappointing for such a new device. Please advise how to get this replaced by warranty ASAP. I live in the US. Thank you!- nadavnaz

Mine arrived with no name. My old amp blasted audio through them, some bug - very loud but short. So I sent them back to be tested, to see the drivers are fine. Etymmotic tested them and sent them back, tested normal. So from my experience retesting the missing signature meant nothing- nadavnaz

On a different topic - are er4xr (and the rest of Etys line) right/left specific? Or would it be fine to switch right to left when changing cables? I don’t mean switching channels. Just changing drivers compared to what is marked at the testing sheet. They’re all identical right? (Unlike shure...- nadavnaz

@ClieOS used to make great cables for etys with stable connections. Unfortunately not anymore... Just bought a cable from lunashops. It’s just fine but the connection is a bit flimsy (the Ety mmcx bump isn’t pronounced). Does anybody know of a good provider for cables for Etys? A bit afraid...- nadavnaz

R5, a new Android DAP by Hiby
Oh wait, so the r5 doesn’t allow for root access? I hope hiby turns MSEB into a systemwide feature. The hiby r3 can do that- nadavnaz

So just to confirm, MSEB doesn’t work system wide? Are there other apps that are a good EQ and work systemwide?- nadavnaz

HiFiMan RE-600 Review
Purely subjective differences noticed. They do sound noticeably different for me though, in the ways I described. This could have to do with the source being louder to compensate for the resistor. Even though it’s a chord mojo, I wonder if it should influence the sounds in different volumes...- nadavnaz

HiFiMan RE-600 Review
Recently I bought an er4p-s adapter (75ohm adapter. I now use it with the re600 and find that it makes them perfect for me. The er4sr are still preferred for classical music, but now with this adapter I find the re600 to compliment some recordings more. Before I found them too soft, and not airy...- nadavnaz

Using Hifiman re-600 with Hiby R3 balanced output - 2.5 adapter needed
I did see a couple, but none of them seem to specifically promise both sides being balanced. hellodigi M2F3 2.5mm Male to 3.5mm Female Balanced Audio Adapter—Headphones Adapter, Audio Connector Plug Gold Plated for Car Mp3 Audio Device Earphones (Copper-Platinum)... -
Using Hifiman re-600 with Hiby R3 balanced output - 2.5 adapter needed
Hi All, I am on the lookout for a 2.5 Balanced Male to 3.5 Balanced Female adapter. I just purchased the Hifiman re-600 V2 (balanced version) and the Hiby r3 player. Unfortunately the RE-600 terminates in a 3.5 balanced connection - which isn't the industry standard! I can't find a good adapter...- nadavnaz
