Revisited: Best NC on-ear (ideally portable) headphones under $150.00
How much would I be sacrificing if I went for the sr5bts instead of the 550s? Sounds like the 550s are really terrific but the cost for me is daunting. Someone trust worth the also recommended to me the new dunos. They are IEM's of course. Any thoughts about them would also be appreciated.- MrMonte

Revisited: Best NC on-ear (ideally portable) headphones under $150.00
I'm sure the 550s are terrific but they are out of my price range. What I am wondering about now is a model up from the vmodas I have tried (the XS) and I'm wondering about the Audio-technicas. I have heard good things about them. I like the warmth of the Sennheisers, but I wake the overall...- MrMonte

About to buy first pair of IEMs - RHA MA750s
Thanks RHA team! I should note, I am passing along comments - not expressing a personal opinion, as I don't own the T-10s. I appreciate your providing the RHA perspective, which seems to make sense. Monte- MrMonte

About to buy first pair of IEMs - RHA MA750s
The only issue I had with the 750 sound signature was that they at first seemed a little veiled. However, I tried the foam tips and that went away. I think perhaps it's a matter of finding the right tips. The supplied tips did not alleviate the veiled sensation. Since I'm not a big fan of foam...- MrMonte

About to buy first pair of IEMs - RHA MA750s
an interesting note - on his website Joker says that the T10s are not, in fact, an upgrade from the 750, but just a different, more bass-heavy, signature. I'm passing it on because I was considering investing in them but, having recently invested in the 750s and enjoying them very much, decided...- MrMonte

About to buy first pair of IEMs - RHA MA750s
Very interesting observations.I feel like there is nothing wrong at all with the 215s (save a bit muffled) but they just don't compare to the 750s. I would not have had that view right out of the box. It's true the 750s just get better over time. My first reaction was in fact a bit negative...- MrMonte

About to buy first pair of IEMs - RHA MA750s
So I've spent the past week or so doing a lot of comparisons - and giving both burn in opportunities. It's tough as they do have different sound signatures, and both (the RMA-750s and the Shure 215s) are clearly excellent IEMs. My first reaction was go with the 215s. They don't have...- MrMonte

Review: RHA MA-750 (one of the best sub $200 IEM's around)
Hi -- for how long did you break them in for? I got these and haven't taken to them quite yet, but I hear them getting better. Just curious - and appreciated. Mrmonte- MrMonte

Shure se215 for the gym?
I want good bass AND good clear mid and treble and presentation on the warm ish side - e.g not a lot of sibilance. But not so warm it obscures the mids. And a budget around 125 at the high end. Doesn't seem that unreasonable...- MrMonte

is the Shure SE215 worth $89?
I just sent my RHA 750s back - I couldn't warm to them. They sounded great with high quality recordings though and I can't shake this feeling that maybe I didn't give them enough of a chance. The ones I ordered are the SE215s. Any thoughts comparing them? My biggest beef with the 750s was...- MrMonte

Thanks for the perspective. Will let you know. Try as i might I just can't warm up to the rma 750s. I don't mind a little burn in at all but the better they sound out of the box the better!- MrMonte

I do believe in burning in but it's not a good sign if they need 300 hours. Btw I am leaning towards giving the shure 215 Se a try.- MrMonte

Not necessarily looking for great treble and I do like the bass..but would like more clarity at the higher end. You may be right though. I'm thinking about the GR 02 BE and the EPH 100 as alternatives. Thoughts? I realize there will be better performance with some burn in but 300 hours? Are...- MrMonte
