Apple Magic Mouse-fi
Tried my friends briefly. I didnt like the ergonomics. It simply sits too low and it also has sharp edges- montell

Pictures of Your Portable Rig [Part XIII]
It isnt that flawless though. There is lag between any operations you do (like playing a song or skipping to the next) and when you actually start hearing the changes you made. It becomes very annoying when you are like me and you like to skip through songs alot. The lag on my system is about 2...- montell

Does your rolex get noticed?
Buying a watch of any kind is shallow anyway you see it. A watch today is just not functional anymore when you got clocks everywhere you go. You got them on mobile phones, mp3 players, laptops, cars, just about everywhere. And buying a Rolex for reliability is a moot point too. Just about any...- montell

Is the bass of the Etymotic ER4P STILL a bit lightweight even when they are truly properly inserted?

I'd recommend the Apple in-ear. They are easily everything the ER4s are and more. They completely retain their sound quality no matter in what environment you are. Apple in-ears make mono recordings sound like binaural.- montell

Narrowed doing IEM choices to Turbine, IE7, or PFE
The soundstage on the Apple in-ears is unreal. Even better then full sized cans! Wether its the K1000 or any Stax headphone. You'd have to bring in ESL speakers the size of a whole wall to approach the airiness of the Apple in-ears. They are so detailed and the instrument seperation is out...- montell

Apple IEM - most underrated IEMs on the market
I dont think the apple iems are bass light at all. The best is perfect and smooth. Though this is coming from a guy who thinks the bass on the SA6 is perfectly fine too while I have read that others complained about the lack of it. It depends entirely on the recordings though. Not on the IEMs...- montell

Apple IEM - most underrated IEMs on the market
I recently downgraded from IE8 to Apple IEms and what can I say other then the fact that I am pleasantly surprised by them. Two gripes I had with the IE8 was that 1) they dont isolate at all and 2) their bass is way way too overwhelming. When listening to tunes in public I was just hearing the...- montell

Yuin PK3 Impressions Thread
I actually saw a girl who bought the iBuds with remote for $39. It really blows my mind why people are buying such crap. For the same price you could get PK3s (I got mine for cheaper). I let her listen to my PK3s. At first she was listening to a piano play on some low quality youtube video and...- montell

Apple's New Shuffle Ipod sounds great
The ibuds arent as bad as people make them out to be. But you can get yuin PK3 for the same price. The PK3 is so much better. You'll be completely blown away by its SQ. People in my class actually keep asking me if they can listen to my PK3s.- montell
