I would say the pair sounds quite reference without sacrificing the fun. So basically awesome. Would like to try with something warmer still.

Look what the cat dragged in. My Spiral Ear SE6 Nebula. I won't do extensive comparison, because the fit is better on my Nebula as my ears have changed, but it seems to be in the same spirit as the SE6 Edge, but with upgrade on resolution and bass detail, and a massive upgrade on soundstage.

I feel that most of the music I will listen to these days is streamed, ansd even when it is flac or highres, if the recording is not up to par, having something that is TOO reference just makes the music worse.

I was afraid the Elite would sound to analytical. Was more looking at the Cayin RU7 before the Clarinet

I use only IEMs, but high end. In general they don't need ultra high end source

Thanks, I see you sold the ibasso, was it not to your taste? Bare in mind that I usually the usually more natural sound of discrete DACs. What are your go to sources and IEMs today ? Just to have an idea of your tastes

I have no idea but based on Nick's ranking looks more like a side grade.

This little beast is a pleasure to listen to with my Spiral Ear SE6 Edge attached to it balanced.

Still one of the best IEMs I have owned. Needs a slightly warm source in my opinion.
