I'm working on convincing the pet owners to wrap 'em up. But until then, there shouldn't be much harm if I spray it every once in awhile (per your instructions)?

I have two animals living in the room with my receiver. Should I do anything about covering the receiver? Or is an occasional clean of some sort needed?   Thanks, M

How would the wires stay in the receiver?

Hi all,   My new setup will consist of two of these Polk speakers, and this Yamaha receiver. What kind of cables will I need to connect these? Is it just banana plugs on both sides? So could I just get 4 sets of these banana plugs, and this speaker wire? Would that be it?   Thanks in advance M

  I have ones that look like these:http://cdn.head-fi.org/e/ee/ee73b757_25-unhooked.jpg   They are from 2011 or before.  Can a spoon handle fit in that crack?  I tried using a mini flat-head screwdriver (for glasses) and it couldn't pry them open.

I'm trying to open these up to replace the cable. I just cannot seem to do it, no matter how hard I steam them.  (Sorry if this is posted in the wrong spot.)
