    yea, you hear the bass, i'm just sayin, ****ty source = ****ty listening experience, plus you shouldnt expect impactful thumping bass from open ear cans

    Yea, after having these I would never suggest them to someone who wants BASS..but the bass is still very defined and the range is great, but I have narrowed down to the one you mention the D2000, but also D5000, and AH D600 all from denon, i think denon makes the best bassy phones with quality...

    haha, well actually after listening to it on peak level like that for a couple hours it started to cancel out...getting too hot in the pc , so I had to turn it down, this is a good reason why i should have n external amp ahahahaha

    denons dont need amps really...they have llow impedence.......in other words you dont need a huge amount of voltage goin into them from the source...ie. you dont need an amplification device...and in fact you could actually blow your phones out if you are using an amp trying to drive too much...
