Any other suggestions? upgrade from px100 or portapro. or is that like the epitome of outdoor headphones? I want more suggestions before I invest.

Does HD25 have detachable cable? Some are saying it is and some say it isn't. Is there a different versions of each?

He decided to get a AKG K702. Is this a good choice for him? Does it have Booming bass his looking for? I'm not sure because high-end cans I tried were Sennheisers He doesn't have an amp. Would CMOY portable amps be able to drive K702? I'm doubting whether he would be able to wear it outside.

Thanks, I was thinking of hd25, but I haven't tried them. How are they? I know they have great reviews but my friend wants really "booming" stuff and I'm not sure if its bassy. Its a shame they don't sell it at Amazon anymore.

actually, he is really firm about not getting any IEMs, funny thing you mention Monster Turbine. That was my first recommendation 6 months ago, he likes the sound but he said "its a hassle puting on" so he sold it yesterday.
