I have my X7 optical out going into my Ares II DAC and then on to my amp. Might as well use the best DAC I've got in the chain.

I should hook my MZ2 up to my Tekton Moab speakers. They're high efficiency (stated 98dB), so might be a fun experiment. Would be comical looking, as the amp is so small next to the speakers.

I really hope these are good for that price. I love my HE-X V2, so I'm waiting to see how these measure up. Wouldn't mind something with a slightly different flavor while retaining the soundstage as much as possible. Could be a nice complimentary headphone for me.

I game with them constantly. They're awesome for gaming and movies. If you didn't like them I don't think they take returns at Massdrop. You could easily sell them for close to purchase price I'd imagine.

I would personally not buy the HD6XX for gaming. The 5 series is better. It's the worst headphone I have for gaming. I have a lot of headphones.
