Have tried many 2A3 tubes but for me the new production is best sounding. Nos 2A3 are good but f.e. the Eml and Full Music are a little bit better in lower and upper frequencies. Kr tubes are the best i heard.   The mesh adds a special colour of sound to the music and you have to like it...

Quite amazed and amused about the telefunken tubes ...my experience (46 years f.w.i.i.worth) is that they have less hours then Amperex 6922 or Jan sylvania/philips tubes like the 7308. Example: After 2K hours they deteriorate fast and faster as....Test yourself. F.e. the Jan. sylvania or philips...

Interesting if the 5u4g mesh is for sale let me know. Have the Rgn 1064 but need a little more mA.
