Does anyone use one of these amps? I have looked at the ads for them on Ebay and China sellers, but I can't find any pictures of the back part of the amp with RCA outs. The ads all say "pre-outs", but the only pics I have found show only inputs.   Another question, what type tubes does this...

What size capacitors did you get from Radio Shack, I'm thinking of doing the Fitz Mod and I believe the size is 100uf/25v.

Mine hums only with certain tubes, out of about a dozen 6sn7's, I have 5 that don't hum and 7 or so that do. I'd like to try some of the Ken Rad black glass tubes I have, but they hum. The easiest thing to do is just use the tubes that don't hum, right?

I have a near new DV 336SE, 100 hours of use. I have a small collection of good testing 6sn7 tubes, some hum and others don't. I would like to do the Fitz mod, if someone can point me to the origianl post of how to do the mod I would appreciate it. I've searched several times with several terms...

I have a DV 336SE, it is almost new, maybe 100 hours use. With several different 6sn7 tubes, it has a hum, but with others it doesn't. All the tubes test well into the good range. Would the mod mentioned in the original post apply to the 336SE as well?

My ASL OTL 32 is really a great option for someone who needs a decent preamp as well as a headphone amp. I also have a MPX3 Singlepower, which is a better headphone amp, but the flexibility for the money, I'd take the ASL OTL32. I use it in my main listening room with a pair of Dodd Audio tube...

I know this thread has been repeated and discussed but I can't seem to find anything that will ultimately answer my questions. I have been making my own interconnects, mostly to make them the right length that I actually need between components and to clean up the clutter of overly long cables...

Thanks for all the help, they are still working okay, there are only a few recordings with deep bass that distort. I will have a look-see as to the thin fabric that may be causing the distortion. Tom

I just got my Beyer DT770's back from Larry, for a woody and recable, and a month later one of the drivers is not handling deep bass like it used to, a lot of distortion on some music. So does anyone know of a place to order replacement drivers and are they replaceable? I wouldn't mind trying...
