Is it wrong to share an impression though? I think this is a thread where we can have free speech. To address your concerns, if it pleases you then go along with it. I have made it clear in my short review that some people can and will like it. I think it is cool if you really enjoyed it.I do...- malvinviriya

Toranku's Thoughts and Reviews (and target EQ filters!)
I don't think anyone would have the time to sort thru 592 pages of discussion like you do. Just share what you learned here! I think it's good learning for all of us. However I do question heavily the validity of this method and view tbqh EDIT: To add. The guy just posted the graph without...- malvinviriya

crinacle's IEM FR measurement database
It still goes well if one wants to compare with his previous database. Currently it is ofc IEC 60318-4 compliant To be really precise the older measurement rig was using Dayton IMM-6 mic, with an app called FFTPlot on iOS. I've used that thing and tbh it's pretty nice. With periodic white noise...- malvinviriya

crinacle's IEM FR measurement database
I had some experience with the FFT Plot app as well. It's pretty nice and with Crin's PWN file and an IEC compliant mic it actually is a really nice tool for me to get an EQ setting Kinda sucks that it's not able to export at all. But then again I don't think the devs had that in mind when it...- malvinviriya

crinacle's IEM Ranking List
I can definitely agree with the last statement. And as for my experience with the iSine, perhaps because I was using the lesser iSine 10 the feeling wasn't really there for me. The 10 is quite competent especially after EQing but I find the EX1k still capable of delivering more punch especially...- malvinviriya

crinacle's IEM Ranking List
Unfortunately last time I didn't save my EQ, but it's a pretty simple low-shelf with somewhat of a small Q factor on the subbass region at around 100Hz. I remembered adding a 10dB boost on one time and I immediately noticed that it gives me that tight, but really hefty punch. Other IEMs like my...- malvinviriya

crinacle's IEM Ranking List
I can see people feeling that the EX1k is really uncomfortable. A lot of times the tip selection and insert depth matters. But also the natural earcanal shape. I guess I'm sort of lucky both of my ears are pretty straight? Also, on top of this I usually go with small tips and a very deep fit...- malvinviriya
