i was planning on purchasing the A5+ but have decided on the m-audio bx5 d2 for half the price. because ill be listening to mp3 files i want to get a dac that will make it less revealing as i understand they reveal everything. any recomendations? i like the ODAC but im thinking its not going to...

double edit:im also now wondering if it would be worth the upgrade to the 10.2 or would this be too revealing of the mp3 format. also would i have to buy a more expensive amp

edit: i forgot to mention the plan is to plug my fiio E7 into whatever DAC i get for headphone listening until i can afford a better headphone amp

Im new to "high" end audio (high compared to the average $40 speakers from walmart). I am looking to create a bookshelf speaker system to run from my laptop where it will be mostly mp3 files (i mostly listen to alternative such as the black keys or the neighbourhood but i like acoustic as well)...

P.S. im looking into AKG k550, DT 1350, and vmoda m80's. comfort is pretty important to me.

whats a good closed back headphone for under 300. I currently have a fiio e& but plan on purchasing the O2+ODAC. so what headphone would be a good pair for this. i listen to mostly alternative rock and acoustic. any help greatly appreciated

deciding on some headphones- i think i might get the DT 880's. i will power them with an ipod and a fiio e7. should i get the 30 or 250 ohm version?

so im keeping the grados in the back of my mind but im deciding between the q-701, the dt-880, and he-300 or 400 (is the price difference worth it?) out of these which will have the best sound for both acoustic and rock?
