If you have the i3/i4 cipher cable, those seem to be harder to find. You might find someone who’d pay a premium for it. I would have when I had my i3 (the dealer that sold me mine only had the 10/20 cipher cable - I always wondered what my i3 would have sounded like with the correct one).

Yes, best I've seen previously was $1,199, which I paid 2 years ago for a B-stock LCD-3. And $399 is the lowest I've seen for the LCD-2 Classic.

Best price I've ever seen on a LCD-3 from Audeze. My 2nd favorite headphone I've ever owned (still have my B-stock LCD-3).

Will it play CD-R (recordable CD) discs?

Just sold my LCD-4 which had new drivers and leather pads installed by Audeze. Preferred my 2 year old LCD-3’s. Yes, the 4’s are more detailed and have better bass definition, but the 3’s have a thicker meatier low end that I prefer, similar to my Empyreans that I love. No reliability issues...

I have or have owned Astell & Kern Kann (original), Fiio M17, Hiby RS8, R6 III and R5 II, and everyone of them, including the now several year old Kann will last at least 5 to 6 hours on my Empyreans, LCD-3 and Klipsch HP-3. Even used them with my now sold LCD-4's. I suspect there's an issue...

It did take Audeze 21 days after they received the LCD-4's before they contacted me and started working on them. (Supposed to get them back tomorrow!)

I sent my LCD-4's (for new drivers) to Audeze back in mid-January by UPS Ground and it took 6 calendar days to get there from Houston.
