I don't own the Caldera's but I do use the S6 with my Audeze LCD-X's and they are a wonderful pairing.

The 430HAD is still reference level. So versatile too with inputs and HP connections.

I will ask Costa about that at Axpona. They still have them on the rest of the line.

Always a HP win when the big guys come in and play for awhile.

I confirmed today with Moon that they have discontinued both the 230 and 430 HA and HAD models. They are not replacing them. They are focusing on other areas in the audiophile market. I suspect the 430HAD will become a nice collectable item.

I used the Sennheiser HD650's and HD800's with the SLI-80 and they both sounded great.

My 430HAD is not going anywhere. I use it as both a HP amp as well as a stand alone DAC with another tube HP amp. Love that it is Roon ready as well.

My personal experience with Simaudio has always been positive. I would recommend them to anyone. I am sorry you had a bad experience.

Mine is ten years old and I have never experienced that. Give a call to your dealer or to Moon and see what they can suggest. It is still under warranty.

I have a few of those as well. Thinking of my Luxman gear.
