He is coming directly from Red October which he considers a clear step up from Envy, so yeah there seem to be a bit of bias. Though we will see, the unit he received is WE300b + Brimar drivers, so it could be the synergy too, which he is aware off. The dacs he was using so far is Wavedream...

Following the review process of Envy by ConvinceMeAudio, we are in for a ride I believe. He seem to have some big concerns regardings stage and dynamic, it looks like he finds it problematic with Envy. He plans to compare Envy with Red October and Ha-300b mk.2.

Have to try it with my Verite Open and Atrium Closed yet. But sheesh Susvara does slam with this combo, finally so damn good for stoner rock and metal, it really lacked in heavy genres with RCA Grey Glass and my Fivres

Sylvania 6sn7w are exceptional with We300b on Envy with Susvara. Second day in, Sus never sounded that good. Excited to try Brimars, that are on the way, but doubt it can get any better with driver tubes, sheesh.

Curious what those parts are and if its not more of a “it costs more”
