    Great and fun review! I have the same preference i headphones and the LCD-X comes closest to perfection in that regard. ps. Love the ”sunglasses” referense.

    Thanks for the review. I just cant put my head around that it seems to push bass, mids AND highs. Seems strange to me.

    I listen to a lot of Tool, Neurosis and a lot of post rock. Some of the albums are not that well recorded (while some are!). To say the least. Would you still recommend these headphones? thanks!

    I don't know what you mean by "all rounder" but I think it's a damn fine headphone for guitarr based genres. I have listened to some classical with them. There are better for that. And there are better for EDM and stuff. However, rock, jazz, accustic, metal and blues sound really great. Also...

    I think your analysis regarding bass is spot on. However, the treble is unbareble for me. It is very shouty. It's not that it is to bright, and I´m no audiophile, but the presence region makes it completly unlistenable for me. Thats a shame, because I generally love the Audeze headphones.
