I'm about to purchase some Ultrasone Pro 900s and I can't decide whether to get the E11 or E17.   Some people say the Pro 900s need amp, some say they don't, I just thought I'd get one to be sure.    I'm only interested in sound quality, money isn't important to me, I just want to know...

I'll definitely look into those, are they closed back so I can use them for out of home stuff and not bug anyone around me?

I'm thinking of buying either the AHD 2000 or 5000 for my new portable cans and was wondering what people thought of the idea and whether the 5000 is worth the extra cash!
