Oops, sorry. I just noticed that the remote does not include the adapter cable. Try iRiver support and see if they have any specs on the cable. While you are at it, you might as well ask them if they have an adapter lying around.

Worst case if no one has an adapter for you - the remote is still available through iRiver for about 35 bucks.
