  The e10k will do a fantastic job. I am extremely happy that I went with it. It has a bass boost for when you really want that low end and is more than capable of driving the DT770 80-ohm to uncomfortable volumes without distortion.

I purchased these headphones (DT770/80) just over 2 years ago and lived without a dac until last month. Up until then I used the Fiio E06 to "power" the headphones, but I never felt like it did much besides bloat the sound with the built in eq settings.   Just to test the waters I purchased...

What did you end up getting to power your DT770's? I've got the exact same models and have been considering the multitude of affordable tube amps.   Are you happy with what you purchased? Have you been trying out a lot of different tubes to find the perfect match?
