I don’t dispute that cables can make an improvement, I was commenting on the Flares specifically as I think it’s a good cable having had one apart. The biggest issue is the difficulty in modifying the Flares with an MMCX so it retains the same physical layout as currently.

The BT module is the same for all the Pro's and it does have a microphone! Where did you see that it didn't on the 2HD? Either that or I've been speaking into my BT module like a berk for a couple of years and its my iPhone picking up my voice!

I’m sure some here will tell you how many cables they’ve broken on these, but I think if you’re careful you won’t have a problem. I’ve had 6 pairs of Flares since the original Pro and never had any issues. What I can say though is they’re dead easy to take apart so any issues is an easy DIY fix.
