For every problem listed here, there are probably 10 satisfied customers. I’ve had the Penrose X for 2 years with no issues. They have the best sound of any wireless headset, a great mic, and do everything I need from them. No connectivity problems, no whooshing, no breaking, no battery issues.

Audeze has said the penrose x will have the new firmware and sidetone will be off by default.

I just made my preorder yesterday. You can always return them if they don’t suit you, but for the audio quality I think they’re worth a shot. I plan to use mine on XSX.

thanks for chiming in on this. Sounds like a faulty mic port might be causing feedback /noise floor problems.
