Show us your Head-Fi station at it's current state. No old pictures please...
Nice! I’m still debating on what setup to buy for my desk. Did you have any hiss with them? I know the price range is all over the place but I’m debating on the mtm-100s, Vantoo T0 Encore Plus or the Kali Audio LP6 V2’s. Would like to find a warm sounding system, especially if it has a...- joeydgraffix

How do you like the MTM-100’s? I was actually looking at both those speakers. It’s hard to figure out what to buy since I can’t listen to anything. Plus it seems like almost everything has a bright sound to it which I hate. But what is your opinion on the 100s?- joeydgraffix

Comment by 'joeydgraffix' on listing 'WTB - WOOX Version Philips Fidelio X2 Headphones'
I don't know. I bought a few x2's, never found the bass to be exaggerated. My old x2/27's had such a dark yet warm sound, no fatigue.. Then it broke, bought a few other x2's and they were so bright and grainy , the bass wasn't as good either. It's like they took the melody and soul out of it...- joeydgraffix

Comment by 'joeydgraffix' on listing 'Massdrop Koss ESP/95X Electrostatic Headphone'
Thanks! A lot of people don't talk about it, but I found these to be great for video games. If you're a basshead then these aren't for you. If it's one thing I wish they had was just a bit more bass. The clarity and black background is great. Even though you can hear just about every single...- joeydgraffix

Looking for old computer 2.1 system super cheap
Back in the early 2000s there was a 2.1 system. Small compact, volume knobs on the small speakers while the "Sub" was like a 4 inch speaker. I don't know if its from logitech or creative labs or sound blaster pro. Usually they had craappy sound but one of them, the board put out excellent...- joeydgraffix

A list of quadraphonic headphones, and the best ones.
Hey I’m getting mine in to modify. But I do want to hear them stock . I know there are dual 6.55mm to a single 6.5mm tip. Do you think that would work? I know the 2 cables are for the front and rear. But would the plug make it mono sounding? Or would it still act as a rear/front signal output?- joeydgraffix

So I know the basics of where we can make stuff like: Headband Cup Headphone cable Earpads Drivers (Although I wish there were more available that the Peerless drivers we see everywhere!) I am just at the point of the electrical parts. I'm not going to run a balanced cable since I don't have a...- joeydgraffix

Can we get the regular old classified back? The rest of the site is fine but that new classifieds section is horrible and the search function barely does anything.- joeydgraffix

Want to make some over-ears. Any sites with detailed instructions?
I can't find too much, but are there any sites or videos show what to buy , how to do the cabling and soldering to all the pieces? As far as other pieces go like headbands or earpads I don't need that kind of info. I want to make my ownheadphone plug , solder wires to it, make the cable, then...- joeydgraffix
