I believe, the top of the line woo wa5 has binding post's and is able to power spkrs.  afaik that is the only woo able to power speakers.  otherwise a headphone amp is designed to drive headphones.

Yes you can use it, although you will still need a phono-stage for the turntable.

Hi   I have a cd player with a built in preamp/volume control, and balanced outputs.     Is it safe/practical to use balanced headphones connected directly to the balanced outputs on my cd player?    The cdp has output voltage up to 5.0 V rms.   And output impedance of 100 ohms.  ...

Also,   The Audio Aero can output up to 5.O Volts RMS. Has 100 ohm output impedance.   I am interested in getting to know my headphones better, and figure removing my headphone amp from the equation would remove a big variable.     Is this just a stupid idea?  I don't know how to...

Just curious what would happen.    Soon enough I'll have a balanced headphone amp, and I will ultimately be using balanced cables between my source and the amp.  

Here's another question.   If you have a balanced source, and a balanced amp...but only an rca interconnect cable...would rca to xlr adapters actually work and send a balanced signal to the balanced amp from the balanced source?

If you can, swap the tube with the other channel to see if the white noise follows it.

Hey grokit   I have fully balanced atma-sphere monoblocks, and they require an adaptor for the xlr inputs if i were to run them single-ended.     did the 325i sound good with the wa22?  

Hey Solude   Thanks for the photo and advice.       The b22 looks nice.  From what i've been reading it looks like the b22 might not be the best for a first time diyer.     So the signal goes balanced into the transformer and outputs the same balanced signal to the output terminals...
