Finally I am a geek.
Dual monitors are great (except when you have to move out of a dorm room and carry around multiple 19in CRTs), but my roommate was using a triple monitor setup for most of this past year (15in LCD, 17in LCD, 17in CRT).- jhawk1729

The RUNNING thread : All Runners cmon in!!
I'm just running as conditioning for Ultimate Frisbee, so we do a mix of long and short running and are moving towards shorter faster runs. Our schedule is usually something like a 5-8 mile run, 1 mile race, 2-4 mile run, interval training, 2-4 mile run, and stairs or short interval training...- jhawk1729

PIMETA pics (?300k)
A few pictures I took today while starting to do the casework for the PIMETA I've been building. Since I'm building it in the basement, and there's wood and the appropriate tools I'm making a wooden case. Since the IC's I got were all SO-8 I soldered them to the bottom of the board...- jhawk1729

Bithead vs. Transit + Vibe?
Based on what I heard at a meet, I preferred my PowerWave + Cmoy to a Bithead, I mainly was listening to a SR60, SR225, HD280 and DT770 at the meet. This was head-to-head with both running from my laptop.- jhawk1729

Jhawk was a nickname I got in physics as a freshman in high school. I'm not quite sure how I got the nickname, but it was a hell of a lot better than many high school nicknames so I was fine with it (some people from that class called me jhawk throughout high school). Anyways, 1729 is a cool...- jhawk1729
