Dual monitors are great (except when you have to move out of a dorm room and carry around multiple 19in CRTs), but my roommate was using a triple monitor setup for most of this past year (15in LCD, 17in LCD, 17in CRT).

Based on what I heard at a meet, I preferred my PowerWave + Cmoy to a Bithead, I mainly was listening to a SR60, SR225, HD280 and DT770 at the meet. This was head-to-head with both running from my laptop.

Just use Terminal and sftp or ftp, seriously, it's easy, it's fast, it supports drag & drop, and there's extensive help, just type man sftp or man ftp.
