The Sennheiser 280s sound pretty good, but it is critical that you burn them in first. The highs are all over the place for the first 20 hours during burn in. After 30 hours, the highs start to level out. At 50 hours, the bass becomes very apparent. At 100 hours, they just sound wonderful...
