I compared them with an IFI iDSD BL and Grace M9XX, both capable of driving the TH-X00 wonderfully. But I definitely heard the distortion in my Shure SE846. To be fair, the spec sheets don't include 8 ohm impedance.

I also haven't experienced this with anything other than my Shure SE846 which are 8 ohm IEMs. TH-X00 sounded fantastic with my UD-503.

Anybody experiencing out of sync audio occasionally? This happens when I'm watching Youtube videos. Turning the unit off then on fixes the issue.

  Absolutely. T50rp is not the easiest to drive but it doesn't really push the capabilities of the m9xx.

More than enough. I have both.

I have a similar setup with the Airmotive 6s. Just use an RCA Y adapter. This is what I use. Or you can go from the m9xx to the sub then from the sub to the Airmotivs. 

You need to change the Mac MIDI utilities setting to 44.1 KHz. It's located in your Apps/Utilities folder.

Definitely much higher volume of out the computer. I guess the line level for the Nexus 6p is much lower. No idea how to increase it though.
