Teac UD 503 DAC (2015 New Release, DXD, DSD256)
I'm not quite sure I understand your question. You can mix XLR and RCA on the same channel because XLR is RCA with an extra negative channel.- jerry1130

Teac UD 503 DAC (2015 New Release, DXD, DSD256)
Yes it is possible. I use a Y XLR cable and a XLR to RCA cable for each channel.- jerry1130

Teac UD 503 DAC (2015 New Release, DXD, DSD256)
Have you tried it with active ground mode? It takes the amp to another level in terms of dynamics. This unit is definitely underrated. That's not even mentioning how capable the pre-amp and DAC sections are. I use a pair of Focal CMS 65 studio monitors with it and little features like the amp...- jerry1130

Teac UD 503 DAC (2015 New Release, DXD, DSD256)
I compared them with an IFI iDSD BL and Grace M9XX, both capable of driving the TH-X00 wonderfully. But I definitely heard the distortion in my Shure SE846. To be fair, the spec sheets don't include 8 ohm impedance.- jerry1130

I also haven't experienced this with anything other than my Shure SE846 which are 8 ohm IEMs. TH-X00 sounded fantastic with my UD-503.- jerry1130

Teac UD 503 DAC (2015 New Release, DXD, DSD256)
Windows 10 and the format is set at 44.1/16bit. The interesting thing is, when I set the bitrate higher I get the static issues a lot of people are having with UD501. Pretty sure it's a driver issue. The unit works perfectly when I use it with my Macbook. EDIT: The issue is fixed by using the...- jerry1130

Anybody experiencing out of sync audio occasionally? This happens when I'm watching Youtube videos. Turning the unit off then on fixes the issue.- jerry1130

Fostex new RP headphones - T50RPmk3, T40RPmk3 and T20RPmk3
Absolutely. T50rp is not the easiest to drive but it doesn't really push the capabilities of the m9xx.- jerry1130

Grace Design x Massdrop m9XX DAC/Amp Review: First Impressions
I have a similar setup with the Airmotive 6s. Just use an RCA Y adapter. This is what I use. Or you can go from the m9xx to the sub then from the sub to the Airmotivs.- jerry1130

You need to change the Mac MIDI utilities setting to 44.1 KHz. It's located in your Apps/Utilities folder.- jerry1130

Definitely much higher volume of out the computer. I guess the line level for the Nexus 6p is much lower. No idea how to increase it though.- jerry1130
