Closed-back headphones for under $120??
Ok so I just got the HD280s in the mail this morning and here's a few negatives that I noticed right away: My small size 7 head is absolutely dominated by these cans..I look like an astronaut, it's pretty funny actually. But I am now totally discouraged to wear these things in public. Also I was...- JeffCrisco

Quote: Can you just clarify what you mean by "lean"...I've heard the term thrown around a lot and I don't know what to think of it. Is it good or bad?- JeffCrisco

Closed-back headphones for under $120??
Quote: I will, I should receive them in the mail tomorrow..I will most likely spend the whole day listening to them to "break them in" i guess. There were literally 10 cans I had high interst in but I did more research and got more feedback on the Senns so that was my deciding factor. I...- JeffCrisco

Closed-back headphones for under $120??
So I just bought the HD280s. Waiting for them to ship, can't wait to hear them. It's hard to get an opinion on so many options of headphones cuz everyone hears things differently. Closed-back headphones for under $120??
I'm afraid with on-hear headphones because the sound leaks out sometimes...i want to be able to listen to music at a medium-high level without others around me hearing anything.- JeffCrisco

Closed-back headphones for under $120??
I checked the forum out..I guess I should point out I'm not a true basshead like those guys. Don't get me wrong I like my tunes to bump, but not overpower the other frequencies. And the size of those headphones are enormous. I have a small size 7 head, I don't want to be trapped in my cans.- JeffCrisco

Skullcandy...
Quote: I had Skullcrusher for about 8 monthd before I broke them. They're just okay for the money..you can get a lot better headphones with better overall sound quality. The bass control is nice but it drowns out the mids and highs. Save your money and do some research. Sennheiser...- JeffCrisco

Closed-back headphones for under $120??
I'm slowly transforming into an audiophile, which means it's time to say goodbye to my Skullcandys and purchase a real set of cans. As I stated above, my budget is $120. I'm also looking for a pair of headphones with a great bass response (my iPod contains a lot of Electro, Pop, Rock, and...- JeffCrisco
