    FiiO X7 | DXD | DSD | 384K/64B | ESS9018+ Android | WiFi | Bluetooth | 4 AMP modules | Balanced Out |

With around 2 Ohms, it is not immensely high, but still produces a rolloff of 1dB at 7kHz and 2dB at 10kHz with a Triple.Fi 10 as load. On the go, I wouldn't really mind, but most of the time I listen in quiet environment where I unfortunately recognize the difference.   I haven't had the X1...

What's your favorite SE846 acoustic filter?

This thread/poll goes out to every Shure SE846 owner (the ones that have auditioned it at least).   What's your most favored SE846 acoustic filter element (and why)?   I prefer it the most with the blue filter ("balanced"). Highs are too peaky with the white ones for longer time listening...

    FiiO X7 | DXD | DSD | 384K/64B | ESS9018+ Android | WiFi | Bluetooth | 4 AMP modules | Balanced Out |

Let's hope so. The X1 has got the highest output resistance out of all X models and would be too much for most of my IEMs at my common listening environment - let's hope that it is a trend FiiO won't continue.   Even though, unfortunately Hidisz, Sony, HiFiMan and A&K still have got a much...

Best Soundstage in an UNIVERSAL IEM?...

From the IEMs I own, my favorites (considering soundstage) are:   Sennheiser IE80: Threedimensional and large, intstrument presentation tends to display instruments and voices too wide sometimes. Good depht and layering even though it seems also audibly washed out most of the times. Good for...

    FiiO X7 | DXD | DSD | 384K/64B | ESS9018+ Android | WiFi | Bluetooth | 4 AMP modules | Balanced Out |

I'm curious about the DX7's hiss level and hope it will be at least at X3 level (barely audible). X5 and X1 do have more hiss.   Let's also hope that output impedance will be low (hopefully around 0.5 Ohms or lower).

    AMP/DAC for UERM?

As the UERM are multi BA IEMs without linear impedance all over the frequency range, they need an amp/DAC with low output resistance to keep their natural frequency response (the closer to 0 Ohms, the better).   I don't know of the others, but the Leckerton devices do offer very low hiss...

    Audeze LCD-X

Here's a frequency chart of my LCD-X:     I have to admit, they are a very musically sounding pair of headphones that also sound very forgiving with rather bad recordigs without losing their ability of reproducing micro details. Good job Audez'e, well done.

    FiiO X7 | DXD | DSD | 384K/64B | ESS9018+ Android | WiFi | Bluetooth | 4 AMP modules | Balanced Out |

As someone who likes listening at low volume, I wish the FiiO X7 to have a more precise volume adjustment steps, just like iBasso's devices. Fixed attenuation steps (e.G. 0.5dB) would be fine, aditionally it would be nice if the current attenuation could be shown in the upper info bar of the...

    Fiio X7 release date ?

As the X7 is going to be FiiO's t-o-t-l product, it is pretty certain that it will support DSD playback natively.
