    Sound Blaster X5

I'm curious about this device. It seems you can connect it directly to an analogue amp via RCA ports or even Toslink. Is it possible to stream audio from a USB hardisk and control it via an Android or iphone?

New Sony Walkman NW-A300 Series (Android 12)

Is it just me, or is the transfer from PC to an SD card via USB-USBC slow??? I am basically using a usb-a - usb-c cable to transfer to a MicroSD card plugged into the walkman, and it take about 11 minutes for 10 gig to xfer to the card.. it's alot faster if I load the audio directly to the card...

Echobox Audio Explorer impressions and discussion thread

does anyone have a 'tear down' video of this device. The headphone jack of mine broke, and I gave it to a dodgy Chinese iphone repaired who seems to have broken the connection between motherboard and touch screen. I need to see how i can fix the ribbon thread that connects the two. It's a great...

    The Pono Player Impressions Thread

I'm am a bit saddened the the PONO is no more..regardless, it is part of my Hifi setup and I play it directly into my PrimaLuna tube amp and get a lovely 'musical' and 'warm' sound, it is like an old turntable.... The only complain I have at this point is it's nearly impossible to copy file...

Seiun player, $150 player with monster spec. Too good to be true?

I’m quite enjoying the posts in this thread, but i am confident i will get my Seiun player some time around 2019. I just love the updates Seiun provide, its quite obvious this project is some Chinese nerd who probably gambles too much and watches too many C_pop videos, but at least they have...
