My kanas pro has been dusting up ever since i had my hands on the er2xr. It's just so much better in every way except the soundstage and the lack of some lower and upper treble emphasis (which i can live with), but still ended up resolving better with even more detail. Not to mention, my dislike...

I lost count of the replays I have on that song. Sawano is just a god with his compositions lol.

Do you personally think that the kxxs is really worth the upgrade from the kanas pro? I am somewhat on the fence between upgrading to the kxxs and staying with my (very well used) kanas pro in which i still absolutely adore since day 1. I am aware that they both sound identical rather than...

I initially thought there weren't much to fault about them until i stepped into the chi-fi universe (in this case the kanas pro), and boi does the kanas stomp on the 90/100 like its nothing. I sold my 90 off immediately after getting the kanas.

+1. I have never once, found my Kpro lacking in bass. S**t slams hard when the track calls for it. I especially really love how tight, controlled and clean it is, very comparable to the bass armature in the DM6, but with that dynamic vibe.

Perhaps a simple, carbon fibre vinyl wrap on both sides might do the trick. ;)

The points i mentioned are at most, me nitpicking. I truly enjoy the Kpros for what it is. As for the aesthetic issue, the best i could do was make the texture smooth, but the corrosion(?), is still there. Not much i can do, but i can live with it.

Rather than one thing, i'll just list a few for the sake of it. -Better imaging -slightly wider soundstage -very minor reduction in mid-fowardness (track dependant) -tiny bit more midbass thump -less s-consonant sibilance in certain vocals Just my personal findings and all of which i hope will...
